VA Medical Center 
UCC contracted with the Department of Veterans Affairs to perform electrical improvements to Buildings 1, 2, 16, and 21 of the Carl T. Hayden V.A. Medical center in Phoenix Arizona. The work includes removing, replacing, and upgrading existing aged and deteriorated electrical main switchgear, panels, transformers, raceways, conduit, and conductors in accordance with contract documents. Work included 12.4kV, 480V, 277V, and 120V work, on primary, secondary, and emergency backup circuits. Over 180 circuits were relocated from old equipment to new equipment. Circuits and outages ranged in size and complexity, up to a 1600A branch breaker feeding an entire Wing of main hospital Building #1. Hundreds of Electrical Outages were successfully planned and completed.
